Code Club Spring Kickoff! 🚀
Our Code Club is growing! This term, we’ve welcomed five new members—coding is clearly catching on! 🎉 To make things even more exciting, we now have an amazing new volunteer, Emilia from Google, who’s an awesome role model and an inspiration to us all.
We kicked off our sessions with the basics of computer programming, diving into JavaScript. Our first unit? Intro to JS: Drawing & Animation.
🖌️💻 We started with the fundamentals—how to use code to draw shapes and move objects. Some of our first masterpieces included wobbly circles, quirky smiley faces, and a few “abstract” (aka accidental) art pieces. But hey, that’s part of the fun!
