  • A Tale of 2 Sycamoreโ€™s Grand Adventure!

    Hear ye, hear ye! Today, the 2 Sycamore class embarked on a truly historic journey to the British Library. Armed with comfy shoes and a thirst for knowledge (and maybe snacks), we braved the streets to uncover the secrets of Medieval Women. Along the way, we dabbled in poetry about monkeys (yes, they had medieval monkeys too), crafted some totally authentic body armor, and even got our hands on some silk fit for royalty. Who knew the Middle Ages were so hands-on?

We were lucky enough to take a trip to the National Portrait Gallery, where students had to identify the main features of a portrait, identify how they have changed over time and illustrate which era was their favourite and why.
